This little pouch is perfect to carry on your purse or to use when you don't want to bring a lot. Its a really easy pattern and you can modify to make it as big as you want, no need to keep track of chains or stitches, great for beginners. I made this one on the size of my phone, but can made in any size just adding as many stitches needed in the foundation row
Materials list:
- Number 4 Medium Weight/Worsted yarn
- Size G (4.25mm) Crochet hook
- Yarn needle
Stitches (U.S):
chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (sl st)
Half Double Crochet (hdc)
Chain 32
Row 1: hdc in 3rd chain from hook and so on all the way to the end. On the last chain work on the opposite side of the foundation chain hdc to the last st. Join (sl st) in 2nd chain.
Row 2: Ch 2 (count as first hdc). hdc all the way around. Join in the 2nd ch.
Row 3 to 13: Repeat row 2. Fasten off.
Weave in all the ends.
To make it bigger repeat row 2 as many times as wanted.
You can add Velcro straps, a zipper or sew a button to close it. I chose the button because i find it easier.
